OH HONEY!

There is a Facebook page that I have liked so their posts go to my feed.  Yesterday she posted this picture.  I had it up on one of my computers while i was working on the laptop.

My son comes into the room and then goes running to his brother.  "I have a new game!  You hide a dot of honey on your body and the other person has to find it with their tongue and lick it off!  I want to be the one to lick you so I get to eat the honey!"  Oh lord!  He even asked me if maple syrup would work too.

I have been feeling rather neglected lately.  A lot of my close friends are so busy in their own relationships that I don't even hear from most of them for days at a time.  Quite a change from when we used to touch base at least once a day.  It makes me feel pouty and lonely.

While I am not currently in a committed relationship, I do have a very very close and dear friend whom I call "Daddy".  He is more a Daddy to me than anyone else I've ever been with and he indulges me by letting me be little.  I text him every morning and we get to talk at least once a day.  If I need a hug or cuddle, he  is always there.  I always sleep better when he tells me to go to bed.  I adore him and would do anything for him but I worry about asking too much of him sometimes.   I am happy and blessed to have him in my life.

Smoochie and I did not sleep very well last night.  I have a hard time getting my mind to turn off sometimes.  I will lie in bed and all kinds of things will run through my brain.  Currently it is finances and relationships.  I think the recent encounters with my ex have exacerbated that too.  So it takes me forever to fall asleep.  Then they changed my son's school schedule and he starts 70 minutes earlier than last year.  This means I have to be up at 6:30 am and when I don't get to sleep until after 5 am, I am a hurting little girl in the morning.

I have a busy day tomorrow.  Doing a benefit for the Michael J Fox Parkinsons Research group and then another show later that night.  My author also finally sent some sound files for me to transcribe.  I do transcription for a NY Times best selling author, whose name I won't mention. 

I am falling asleep because it's late and I didn't get much last night.  Daddy also told me to get some rest before he went to bed.   So I am off to see if I can't do that.
